New Titleist 913 Metals and Hybrids

Its not been long since Titleist announced the 910 metals and hybrids, whcih was only last fall. But they pushed on and now the introduction of the Titleist 913 metals and hybrids is now here. This article explains how Titleist have changed the overall look with slick design and the enhansement of the clubs in many ways.

Introducing the New Titleist 913 Metals and Hybrids. According to the Titleist technicians, the 913 fairways are designed to help produce extra distance from turf and tee shots mainly due to the improved Center of Gravity location. Part of that is a result of the thinner crown that allows the CG to move lower. In which tests show that the new metals have less spin and a greater ball speed than those from the previous 910 model.

While the creation of this was being done, the company engineers found a way in which to lower the shape of the sole profile of the 913 F, in return giving the SureFit Tour hosel structure a leaner look, while still ensuring the club remained extremely adjustable, with 16 different settings available along with the ability for golfers to tweak lie and loft independently.

The Titleist 913 F.d, has been designed to promote less spin and more penetration to the ball flight with a flatter trajectory. its available only in three lofts, 13.5, 15 and 18 degrees, while 913 F differs coming in lofts of 13.5, 15, 17, 19 and 21. However, the 913 F.d does have a slightly larger clubhead than the 913 F, 188 cc in size versus 157 cc.

Also a factor in the delepoment of the 913 Hybrid was more distance, in which they had to create it in five lofts – 17, 19, 21, 24 and 27. Here, the CG location was positioned toward the back of the lower-lofted clubheads, this enables greater forgiveness on off-center hits, and closer to the face on higher lofts to keep the spin in check.

Titleist also came up with a slight progression on the offset through the lofts promote confidence and proper ground contact. Visually, engineers softened the toe shape of the hybrid clubs and in doing so gave them adjustable hosel with a more tapered look.

Overall, I have to say these seem like pretty impressive clubs. Titleist have not only changed the profile of the clubs but there overall performance, enhansing many aspects of them to help golfers improve their game play. I think these are going to do very well and be a popular model to own.
